Personal & Professional Profile
I built my first website when I was thirteen or fourteen years old, albeit it was with FrontPage and in original HTML, I knew I found something I wanted to pursue. I enjoy Art, Design, Technology, Writing and Perfectionism. These are all things that can be found in what I do; being artistic and creative within web design, being techno-savvy within website development and programming, writing content and perfecting everything with SEO and SMM.
After putting myself through college and landing a job out of my practicum, I've learned a lot over the years - achieving promotions and climbing the ladder. I eventually realized a dream by starting my own business at the beginning of 2010 - BE3Designs is now how I provide my freelance website services. And when I'm not doing that? I (rarely) get to read books, write words, paint pictures, play video games and walk our dog! :)
Technical Skills
Currently using Adobe CS2 for WinXP, but have had the experience using up to CS4 for both PC/Mac.
Typically code XHTML/CSS from scratch and stay away from WYSIWYG editors as I never trust their intentions!
Javascript knowledge includes integrating plugins and libraries to provide flash-like manipulation or galleries/menus/etc.
PHP and MySQL knowledge includes setting up databases server-side, includes to streamline site files, and some programming, such as using WordPress as a CMS w/ original themes.
SEO includes everything from copywriting, keyword and competitor research, meta data creation, internal links, Google Analytics set-up, sitemaps and even Social Media Marketing!
